Get your database password
Sign in with your ms.GIS Microsoft account. This page then gives you a password for the ROCiQ test database that you paste into DBeaver. The password works for about a day; after that, come back here for a new one.
Nothing is stored on a server. Your password stays in this browser tab and is gone when you close it.

You do not have database access yet
You are signed in as , but your account has no database role. Please ask to give you access, then come back and click Try again.

1. Copy your password
You have more than one kind of access. Pick the one you want to use now:
Select everything in the box (Ctrl+A, on a Mac Cmd+A) and copy it (Ctrl+C / Cmd+C):

No certificate files are needed.
3. Set up DBeaver (once)
- Open DBeaver. In the menu choose Database → New Database Connection.
- Click PostgreSQL, then Next. If DBeaver offers to download driver files, click Download and wait.
- On the Main tab:
- Connect by: Host
- Host:
Port: - Database:
- Authentication: Database Native
- Username:
- Password: click into the field and paste (Ctrl+V, on a Mac Cmd+V).
- Leave Save password unticked. Then DBeaver asks you for the password each time you connect, and you simply paste a fresh one from this page.
- Leave Show all databases (on the PostgreSQL tab) unticked.
- Open the SSL tab:
- Tick Use SSL.
- Leave all certificate and key fields empty.
- Under Advanced, set SSL mode to

- Click Test Connection…. You should see Connected. Then click Finish.
Next time
When DBeaver asks for the password, or says password authentication failed, your password has expired. Come back to this page, click Copy password and paste it into DBeaver.
